
Bleakney to Represent the U.S. in Germany

Rising sophomore Jennifer Bleakney is set to represent the United States in a three-game test series with the U-19 team in Bad Kreuzenach, Germany against the German U-18 squad.
Bleakney, who played in 15 games with a pair of starts for the NCAA Champions this year, will travel to Germany for games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday with the United States. Head coach Ange Bradley will also make the trip to coach the squad.
Bleakney continues the trend of Syracuse players representing the U.S. Alyssa Manley is currently on the U.S. Senior National Team, and won a gold medal at last summer's Pan American Games. Her classmate, Jess Jecko, will be joining the senior national team this summer.
In addition, Laura Hurff competes with the U.S. U-21 team, most recently winning silver in Trinidad and Tobago at the Junior Pan Am Games.
