Orange No. 5 in RPI

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Syracuse is No. 5 in the first men's soccer RPI of 2016 released by the NCAA on Monday, Sept. 26. The Orange are one of five teams from the ACC that make up the top six teams in the RPI.

Syracuse had its eight-game winning streak snapped at Notre Dame last weekend. The Fighting Irish are No. 1 in the RPI, followed by Louisville. Clemson is ranked No. 4, and North Carolina is No. 6. The Tar Heels visit the SU Soccer Stadium this Friday to take on Syracuse at 7 p.m. The Orange will face the Cardinals (Oct. 7) and Tigers (Oct. 21) on the road next month.
