Brosnan Invited to U23 WNT Training Camp

CHICAGO – Senior keeper Courtney Brosnan heads to Orlando, Florida after receiving an invitation to the final U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team training camp of the year, taking place from Nov. 28 – Dec. 4. The senior is one of 22 collegiate players, and one of four goalkeepers, invited to the fifth domestic U-23 event of the year.

Brosnan finished her senior season leading the ACC in saves with 102 during the 2017 campaign. In the last game of her collegiate career, the senior broke the Syracuse program record for career saves, making 344 stops during her four-year tenure in goal for the Orange. Her performance this season earned her an All-ACC Third Team selection.

The Short Hills, N.J. native made 67 career starts for Syracuse, posting a 1.30 career goals against average and a .794 save percentage. She ranks tied for second in program history for career wins with 24 and sits in third for career shutouts with 18.
