This year's TFC squad will go down as one of the best in MLS history. The team is the first team in the league to win the domestic treble of the Supporters' Shield, Canadian Championship/US Open Cup and MLS Cup. Toronto also set several records in the regular season, breaking the single-season points record with 69, tying the mark for most single-season wins with 20 and finishing in the top-three all-time in points per game, goals scored and goal differential.
Â
Bono completed his first season as Toronto's full-time starter in goal and broke the franchise single-season record for shutouts. Bono was the winningest goalkeeper in the league this season.
Â
Alseth, who was drafted by Toronto FC in the third round of last year's MLS SuperDraft, appeared in four matches this season. He also played in 13 games for Toronto FC II of the USL. Camargo signed as a homegrown player in 2016. He did not make an appearance with TFC, but did see action for Toronto FC II.
