SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange are in the midst of a four-game home stand, hosting in-state rival Colgate for game three on Wednesday night in the Carrier Dome. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The game will air on ACC Network Extra and can be heard on Syracuse IMG Radio Network with Brian Higgins ('04) on the call.

Syracuse is riding an 8-0 win streak after defeating Stony Brook 81-70 in an overtime thriller on Sunday. The Orange are one of four undefeated teams remaining in the ACC, joined by Florida State and Notre Dame, and are one of 15 unbeaten teams left in the nation. Redshirt junior Miranda Drummond leads the Orange in scoring (19.3 pts/game), having recorded a double-figure outing in every game this season with three 20-point contests. She ranks second on the team in rebounds (7.4/game).
The Raiders sit at .500 on the season (4-4), most recently coming off a decisive 84-64 victory over UMass Lowell. The 4-4 mark is the best start to a season for Colgate since 2009 when the team opened the year 5-3. Junior Summer King paces the Raiders in points and rebounds, averaging 11.8 and 8.9, respectively, on the season. The forward has notched three double-doubles so far this year.
SERIES HISTORY
A matchup between 'Cuse and Colgate is a relatively common occurrence as they teams have butted heads 13 times in Syracuse program history. The Orange have yet to drop a game to Colgate, holding a perfect 13-0, 7-0 at home, record when facing the Raiders.
It's been almost six years since the two teams last squared off on New Year's Eve in 2011 with the Orange posting an 83-32 rout over Colgate on that particular day. In 13 games against Syracuse, Colgate is averaging 45.8 points per game and the Orange have limited the Raiders to less than 40 points in five of the 13 games.

DOMINATING THE GLASS
For the first time since Dec. 18, 2011, three Orange players recorded double-digit rebound outings as Amaya Finklea-Guity, Gabrielle Cooper and Digna Strautmane all posted 10 boards against Stony Brook. Strautmane led the group in offensive rebounds with six, while Cooper and Finklea-Guity pulled in three each.

Strautmane paces the Orange, averaging 8.3 rebounds per game this season, good for eighth in the ACC. The Latvia native has recorded at least five rebounds in every game this year and has posted three outings with double-figure rebounds. She set a career-high for rebounds with 11 against Hartford on Nov. 20.

As a team, Syracuse posted 54 boards against Stony Brook, marking the fourth time this year that the Orange have tallied 50+ rebounds in a game. Fifty-four rebounds ties the season-high for boards this year, set in the season opener against Morgan State. Syracuse ranks 26 in the nation and third in the ACC for rebounds per game, averaging 46.13 per contest this year.
