Match with Rochester Rhinos Highlights Spring Schedule

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will play six matches as part of its spring schedule, including a March 3 game against the Rochester Rhinos. Head coach Ian McIntyre announced the schedule on Monday, Feb. 13.

The Orange open their spring slate with three consecutive road matches, beginning Saturday, Feb. 25 at Penn State. Syracuse will travel to Sahlen's Stadium to face the Rhinos on Friday, Mar. 3 before playing at LeMoyne on Sunday, March 26.

A home match against Canada's Vaughan SC is set for Saturday, Apr. 2 before the Orange are back on the road at Colgate on Sunday, Apr. 9. Syracuse concludes its spring schedule on Friday, Apr. 14 when it hosts junior college powerhouse Herkimer County Community College.

The Orange posted a record of 12-4-4 in 2016 and earned the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse earned a first-round bye and defeated Dartmouth to advance to the third round for the third consecutive year.
