SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- No. 5/5 Syracuse takes on Albany on Monday, Feb. 27 in the final contest of its five-game homestand to start the season. Opening draw in the Carrier Dome is set for 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge.

The game will be televised on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and ACC Network Extra. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on ESPN 1200 AM and WJPZ 89.1 FM.

ORANGE FEATURE BALANCED OFFENSE
Syracuse is one of the top scoring teams in the nation, averaging 17.25 goals per game through the first four games. Sixteen different players have scored a goal for the Orange, 10 of which have recorded four or more goals. Freshman Emily Hawryschuck (Victor, N.Y.) leads the way with 11 goals.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
After opening the season with a loss at Penn State, Albany has won two straight, including a come-from behind victory against Yale. Sarah Martin scored a single-game school record 10 goals in the win. She leads the team in goals (15) and points (21). Georgia Schneidereith has started all three games in goal for the Great Danes. She has a 12.86 goals-against average and a .333 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Monday's game is the 10th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Albany. The Orange have won all nine games against the Great Danes, including last year's meeting in Albany.

Syracuse goes on the road for the first time this season for a neutral site game against No. 11/10 Northwestern on Friday, Mar. 3 at Hofstra University.
