
Skilton Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Stephanie Skilton of the Syracuse women's soccer team has been named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Soccer Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
Skilton is a health and exercise science major in the School of Education. The senior is involved with the Exercise Science Club and is a member of the Syracuse Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She was named to the Syracuse Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the spring and fall of 2016 and made the Syracuse School of Education Dean's List in the spring and fall of 2016.
The Auckland, New Zealand native led the team with six goals and 13 points in 2016. Skilton finished her career with the fifth most points in Syracuse history (58), tied for second for most goals scored (27) and fourth in game-winning goals (7).
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
