Orange Honored by NFHCA for Classroom Success

Six Syracuse field hockey standouts were celebrated by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Wednesday for their excellence in the classroom as well as on the field.
Jen Bleakney, Stephanie Harris, Laura Hurff, Emma Lamison, Katie Supey and Annalena Ulbrich were selected to the ZAG Field Hockey NFHCA National Academic Squad.
In order to be selected, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or greater through the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year.
For Lamison, it was her fourth time being selected to the list, while Bleakney and Hurff also received a nod to the academic squad in multiple years.
