Women's Hoops Preps for Iowa State

Syracuse and Iowa State will meet Saturday
HARTFORD, Conn. – For the fifth season in a row, the No. 21/22 Syracuse women's basketball team has earned an at-large invitation to the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse will open play on Saturday afternoon when it takes on Iowa State in Storrs, Conn.
After arriving in Connecticut on Wednesday evening, the Orange practiced for the first time away from the friendly confines of the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center on Thursday afternoon. The squad hit the floor at the University of Saint Joseph in Hartford, Conn. as it prepared for its matchup with the Cyclones.
Syracuse is looking to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight year. Tipoff against Iowa State is set for 1:30 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion. The game will be available on ESPN2.
