Florine Hogendoorn, who'll join the Syracuse field hockey program this season, is set to take on HC Den Bosch in the Dutch youth national championship on Sunday, with her team HGC.
Hogendoorn, who already has a Dutch national title on her resume with HGC as a U16 player with the squad, will join the Orange as a midfielder in 2017.
"Florine is a quick smart attacking midfielder with great ball control and vision," said head coach Ange Bradley when Florine was announced as a signee. "She has the ability to eliminate both off the dribble and pass and likes to score. She is extremely competitive and has a tremendous work ethic. Her love of the game is contagious and I am very excited to begin working with her."
