Alyssa Manley and the U.S. Women's National Team punched their ticket to a pair of field hockey's biggest events on Tuesday.
With a 1-0 victory over world No. 11 Japan in Tuesday's quarterfinal, Manley and the U.S. squad qualified for the FIH World League Final in Aukland, New Zealand later this year and 2018 Hockey World Cup in London, England.
Manley, who was the first substitute off the bench for the American side on Tuesday, entering the game in the fifth minute, has seen action in every game of the tournament and has over 50 international caps under her belt with the team.
Two other former 'Cuse field hockey standouts were also in action in the tournament, with Zoe Wilson and Gillian Pinder suiting up for Ireland. Both had scored goals in the tournament so far, but their tournament came to an end on Tuesday in a 2-1 loss to Argentina.
