Former 'Cuse standout Liz Sack will join the collegiate coaching ranks this season after accepting a position as an assistant coach on Saint Joseph's staff.
With a knack for clutch scoring, Sack finished her career after the 2016 season with the third-most points in NCAA Tournament history for the Orange with 13 (6 goals, one assist). She scored nine points during the Orange's NCAA title run in 2015 and finished her career with 31 total points.
Under the tutelage of head coach Ange Bradley, Sack was part of the Orange's most successful stretch in program history. Highlighted by the 2015 NCAA Championship, the Orange appeared in four NCAA Tournaments over that four-year span, each time as a national seed. Syracuse was the only program nationally to amass a top-four seed in each of those seasons, accounting for the longest active streak in the country.
Sack also helped the Orange to a pair of NCAA Championship game appearances – the only two in program history – and was an key part of Syracuse posting the best record in the ACC, widely considered the nation's best conference, among the seven conference institutions in her career.
