
Delhommelle, Miller Invited to MLS Combine

NEW YORK – Syracuse men's soccer will send two players to the 2019 adidas MLS Player Combine. Seniors Hugo Delhommelle and Kamal Miller are two of the initial 60 college players who will showcase their talents in front of representatives from all 24 MLS clubs in Orland, Fla. Jan. 3-9. All invited players will be eligible for the 2019 MLS SuperDraft which is set for Friday, Jan. 11.

Delhommelle played for the Orange for the past two seasons after transferring from Lander University. He started every match in which he played during the past two seasons. Delhommelle led Syracuse in assists (6) and tied for third in points (10) as a junior. This past season, he also had six assists, which was good for second on the squad.

Miller earned third-team All-South Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches in 2018. He was a four-year starter on defense for the Orange. Miller started all 17 matches in which he played this season and helped Syracuse record five shutouts, including a 2-0 win against No. 1 Wake Forest. He recorded an assist at No. 11 Louisville, increasing his career point total to 17.

A committee of MLS coaches and NCAA Division I coaches from every conference selected the invitees, all of whom completed their college eligibility this season.
