'Cuse Soccer to Participate in Open Training Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse women's soccer team is set to participate in the United Soccer Coaches Opening Training Week, inviting local club and high school coaches to visit a training session from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6.

Area coaches will have the opportunity to share knowledge and wisdom regarding soccer training, while watching a Syracuse women's soccer practice, hosted by the Orange coaches. This training is part of Opening Training Week, an iniative started by the United Soccer Coaches organization to promote sharing of ideas in the soccer community.

"United Soccer Coaches is happy to support Open Training Week for the second year," said United Soccer Coaches President Lesle Gallimore. "We're hopeful that this continues to grow all across the country and that even outside of the official "Open Training Week" that coaches look to share their knowledge and ideas through practice session with their teams all throughout the year."
