SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse wraps up play in the regular season with a doubleheader against Colgate on Wednesday, May 2. First pitch of game one at Skytop Softball Stadium is scheduled for 5 p.m.

For Starters
- Syracuse has won nine of its last ten games to improve to 29-19 in 2018. The Orange are in search of their seventh 30-win season in program history and back-to-back 30-win seasons for the first time since 2011 and 2012.

- 'Cuse is 9-1 against in-state foes this year and has outscored its opponents 63-24 in the 10 games. Under head coach Mike Bosch, Syracuse is 24-5 against schools that reside in the Empire State.

- Senior Sammy Fernandez, juniors Alicia Hansen and Bryce Holmgren, along with freshman Gabby Teran are coming off of multi-hit performances in a 4-2 victory over Cornell on Monday. Fernandez finished 3-for-4 with three runs and Hansen, Holmgren and Teran each singled twice.

- The Orange lead the all-time series 7-3. The two schools split a doubleheader last season.

Scouting the Raiders
- Colgate enters the evening with an 11-28 overall record and a 6-9 mark in the Patriot League. The Raiders are coming off of three straight wins over Holy Cross this past weekend.

- Holly Geranen leads Colgate with a .322 batting average and is tied with Jordan Miller with a team-best 24 RBI. Virginia Irby is batting .310 on the season and has scored a team-high 25 runs. Geranen, Mia Guevarra and Christiana Cottrell are the only three Raiders to start all 39 games this season.

- Bella Crow has a team-high 19 starts and is 5-14 with a 3.99 ERA and a team-high 68 strikeouts. Jessica Hay is 4-6 in 27 appearance and 12 starts with a team-best 3.69 ERA and 39 strikeouts. Kyle Griswols is 1-8 with a 3.77 ERA.

- Marissa Lamison-Myers is in her first season as head coach at Colgate. Lamison-Myers joins the Raiders after a four-year stint at Bucknell as the top assistant to the 2015 Patriot League Coach of the Year. Prior to her time with the Bison, Lamison-Myers was a member of a national championship coaching staff at Tufts.

On the Orange Horizon
Syracuse will play a first round game in the ACC Tournament on Wednesday, May 9. The opponent and time will be announced Sunday, May 6.
