Eight former Orange standouts are competing in professional leagues this summer. Mo Adams, Alex Bono and Miles Robinson are on MLS rosters, while Julian Buescher, Jordan Murrell, Chris Nanco Nic Perea and Skylar Thomas are assigned to USL clubs.

Adams (2016-17) is in his first season with the Chicago Fire. The midfielder has played in 11 games, making nine starts. The Fire is unbeaten in their last five matches and enter this weekend's contest at Vancouver with a 6-7-5 record. Adams signed as a Generation adidas player and was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft.

Bono (2012-14) is the starting goalkeeper for defending MLS Cup champion Toronto FC. He has started all 12 matches in which he has played this season and posted 44 saves and a .677 save percentage. Bono missed Toronto FC's May 25th match while he was with the U.S. Men's National Team. He earned his first cap on May 29, recording a clean sheet in a 3-0 friendly win against Bolivia. It marked Bono's fourth call up to the full national team, but it was his first game action with the senior national squad.

Robinson (2015-16) has played in six matches, making three starts, for Atlanta United, helping the squad to an 11-4-4 mark and first place in the Eastern Conference in just the franchise's second season. In addition, he has played five games this season with Atlanta United 2. The defender was part of the 2017 Generation adidas class and became Atlanta United's first-ever draft pick when it took him as the No. 2 overall selection in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.

Buescher is in his third season in professional soccer and is a member of LA Galaxy II. He is tied for sixth in the USL in assists with five. Overall, Buescher has played in 16 matches, making 13 starts, and recorded one goal for the 5-8-4 squad. The midfielder was a Generation adidas player and was drafted with the 11th overall pick by DC United, where he played the past two seasons.

Murrell has played in 13 matches, making 11 starts for Reno 1868 FC. The defender, who is in his second season with the team, has helped the club to an 8-3-7 record, which is good for third place in the Western Conference. Murrell was selected by Real Salt Lake with the 15th pick in the third round in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.

Nanco is playing for Bethlehem Steel FC for the second straight season. He has played in 12 matches, making two starts. Nanco has netted two goals and two assists in 379 minutes of play.

Perea is a midfielder for Rio Grande Valley FC. The midfielder has played in 12 matches, making 11 starts.
