Syracuse closes out the road portion of its fall schedule with a match at Miami on Thursday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m. in Coral Gables, Florida. The game can be seen on ACC Network Extra.
THE SYRACUSE-MIAMI SERIES
Syracuse has a 6-5-1 advantage in the all-time series with Miami. The Hurricanes have won the last two pairings, including a 2-1 decision last fall. Miami also leads in the contests in Florida, 4-2.Â
LOOKING FOR NET FINDERS
Both clubs have struggled offensively this fall. The Orange did get on the board in their last outing, a 3-1 loss to Boston College. Junior forward Meghan Root scored the first goal of the game against the Eagles.
Miami has managed just two goals in seven encounters -- both tallies came in an 8-2 loss to Virginia Tech.
PROULX'S NUMBER ONE!
Senior goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx leads Division I in saves average. Her mark of 10.2 is 3.2 ahead of the next closest netminder. Proulx led the ACC in saves a season ago. Her 61 saves rank first in the conference again this year.

Syracuse completes its fall campaign when it hosts Virginia on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 12 noon. It will be senior day at the SU Soccer Stadium. Eleven Syracuse seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony. The contest will be telecast by RSN.
