Syracuse will be featured during ACC Network's Best of Fall, Winter and Spring Sports from March 30 through April 3. The Orange's come-from-behind victory at then No. 18 North Carolina on Oct. 12 will have an encore airing on Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m.
Ryan Raposo gave the 'Cuse an early lead when he found the back of the net 42 seconds into the match off an assist from Massimo Ferrin. The Tar Heels responded with three consecutive goals, the final one coming on a penalty kick in the 57th minute.
Raposo ignited the Orange's comeback when he struck again in the 71st minute off an assist from Nyal Higgins. Sondre Norheim tallied the equalizer on a header off a Ferrin free kick in the 74th minute before Raposo netted the game winner in the 88th minute after a North Carolina turnover in its defensive end.
The three goals marked the first career hat trick for Raposo, who led the Orange in points (37) and goals (15) in 2019. He signed a Generation adidas contract after the season and was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
