The Syracuse women's soccer program has received an NCAA Public Recognition Award for constructing a Division I Academic Progress Rate in the top 10 percent of all competing squads in the sport.Â
Coach Nicky Adams' Syracuse program is one of 55 Division I women's soccer teams honored by the NCAA this year.
The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams. The APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or academic term and provides a clear picture of the ongoing academic performance for each team in every sport.Â
The 2019-20 Syracuse club was also recognized by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Twenty-two members of the roster were named to the 2019-20 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Honor Roll.
