Syracuse men took the top-five spots at the John Reif Memorial on Friday, closing the regular season.
Sam Lawler – competing unattached – was the race winner in 15:07.1. He was followed closely by Nathan Lawler (15:09.0), Kevin Robertson (15:20.5), Kamari Miller (15:26.8) and Jack Whetstone (15:28.9) to round out the top five. Miller was also competing unattached.
Matthew Dragon (16:19.0) and Patrick Malone (16:47.0) also competed on the men's side.
The 'Cuse women took second through fourth in their race, led by Maddie Heintz (18:55.6). Emily Nugent (18:58.1) and Olivia Joly (18:59.9) were right behind. Sarah Connelly took sixth in 19:15.4, followed by Bethany Steiner (19:33.7) in 10th and Laura Dickinson in 18th.
Next, Syracuse heads to South Bend, Indiana for the ACC Championships on Friday.
