Men's Preview/Entries:
According to the USTFCCCA poll, Notre Dame enters the meet as the heavy favorite, checking in at No. 8 in the rankings, and peaking as high as No. 2 this season.
The Irish are one of just two ACC teams ranked, as Florida State is sitting at No. 19 this week, but nearly half the league is at least receiving votes in the polls. Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse and Wake Forest are earning votes this week.
The men's entries will come from the following group: Noah Beveridge, Alex Comerford, Silas Derfel, Joe Dragon, Joey Eovaldi, Nathan Henderson, Matthew Scrape, Brody Smith, Aidan Tooker, JP Trojan and Ethan Wechsler.
Of that group, there's a multitude of ACC Championship experience. Dragon and Scrape were both All-ACC performers last year. Nine of the 11 listed runners have run in an ACC Championship before, four have previously been All-ACC selections.
Women's Preview/Entries
Perhaps the deepest women's field in league history, the ACC has five of the nation's top-21 teams entering this weekend's meet.
NC State is the favorite according to USTFCCCA polls, checking in at No. 2 nationally, but Florida State (10), North Carolina (13), Syracuse (16) and Notre Dame (21) are not far off. Georgia Tech and Duke are also receiving votes in the poll.
The Orange are led by 2020 ACC runner-up Amanda Vestri. Other competitors will come from the following list: Holly Bent, Annie Boos, Sage Brooks, Justus Holden-Betts, Sophia Jacobs-Townsley, Emily Lane, Eleanor Lawler, Sydney Nowicki, Savannah Roark, Abigail Spiers and Reilly Zink.
Roark, Holden-Betts and Zink were all part of last year's squad that competed at the event.
Meet History:
The Orange men have been the most successful program in league history since joining. The team has won six of the eight ACC Championships contested since it joined the conference in 2013.
The Orange women's best finish of third came in 2018 and 2013.
Next Up:
After ACCs, the team will head to the NCAA Northeast Regional in two weeks.
