
Robinson, USA to Play for Gold Cup Sunday

Miles Robinson and Team USA defeated Qatar, 1-0, on Thursday night to advance to Sunday's Gold Cup final. They will face Mexico in the final, which scored in added time to defeat Tajon Buchanan, Kamal Miller and Team Canada, 2-1, in the second semifinal.
Robinson and the U.S. defense continued their strong play, posting another clean sheet. They have allowed just one goal throughout the tournament, a penalty kick against Martinique. Team USA will be making its 12th appearance in the Gold Cup final.
Buchanan recorded his first international goal in Canada's heartbreaking loss to Mexico. His goal in the 57th minute tied the score at 1-1. It remained that way until Mexico tallied the game winner in added time.
