SYRACUSE N.Y.- The Orange return home after a mid-week road game to host #6 Duke on Saturday night (Sept. 25) at 7 p.m. The Orange are 4-3-1 overall and 1-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The Blue Devils are 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. All fans attending games must adhere to Syracuse University's COVID-19 policy, which can be found here.

ORANGE UPDATE
The Orange are coming off back-to-back double overtime matches in the last week. The most recent match on Tuesday (Sept. 21), ended in a 1-1 draw against ARV Cornell. Freshman forward Francesco Pagano found the back of the net in the 41st minute of the game off a cross from junior midfielder Camden Holbrook to give the Orange a 1-0 lead. The Big Red answered in the 56th minute to tie the score, sending the game into double overtime which ended in a draw.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Saturday night will be the seventh match between the Orange and the Blue Devils. The first match was in 1991 at the MetLife Soccer Classic and the most recent was in 2019 in conference play. The series is tied 3-3.

UP NEXT
The Orange host Vermont on Tuesday (Sept. 28) at 7 p.m. and travel to Pittsburgh for another conference match on Friday (Oct. 1) at 7 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
- Head Coach John Kerr is in his 13th season leading the program.
- Senior goalkeeper Eliot Hamill was named the College Soccer News Player of the Week and the ACC Defensive Player of the Week this week.
- Duke is ranked sixth in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and is first in the Coastal division of the ACC.
- Sophomore forward Deandre Kerr leads the team and leads the ACC in goals and points with seven goals and 16 points on the season.
- Freshman forward Curt Calov has tallied three goals in his rookie campaign, including one against Niagara and two goals in his first collegiate start against Binghamton.
- Graduate student goalie Lucas Daunhauer recorded six saves against Cornell and had a clean sheet against Niagara.
