Four Orange Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C.-Â Senior Hilli Goldhar, graduate student Max Kent and juniors Noah Singelmann and Buster Sjoberg were named to the 2021 All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Team. Goldhar earns this honor for the third time in his collegiate career.Â
Goldhar, a Toronto native, is majoring in finance and is on track to graduate in May of 2022. He has played in 59 games in an Orange uniform and has tallied four goals and 14 assists throughout his four seasons.Â
Kent transferred to Syracuse in the fall of 2020 to complete his graduate studies in public administration. He did not play in any games last season but played in 16 and started in 14 this season scoring two goals as a center back. Kent was named a team captain for the 2021 season because of his impact on and off the field. He also received CoSIDA Academic All-America honors this year.
An economics major, Singelmann has played in all 51 games in his time at Syracuse and has started in 40 of them. He totaled four assists and one goal this season for the Orange. Singelmann earned ACC-Academic honors in 2020 as a sophomore.Â
Sjoberg transferred to Syracuse this season from Wofford College, where he played for two years. In his time at Wofford, he was selected to the 2020-21 All-Southern Conference First Team and was a member of the 2019 Southern Conference All-Freshman Team and All-Academic Team. The finance major played and started in 17 games for Syracuse this season.Â
