Orange and Cardinals Face Off in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, K.Y. – Syracuse (20-15 overall, 3-10 ACC) travels to Louisville (21-17 overall, 5-7 ACC) this weekend for a three-game series at Ulmer Stadium.

The series will open with the first game on Friday, April 15^th at 5:00 pm, and the second game will take place on Saturday, April 16^th at 1:00 pm. The series will conclude with the final game on Sunday, April 17^th at 12:00 pm.

ORANGE UPDATE

The Orange split their midweek series with Canisius on Wednesday. They lost the first game 4-3 and they won the second game 12-1 in five innings.
Angel Jasso leads the ACC in stolen bases with 19.
Jasso also leads the Orange in batting average (.380) which ranks her ninth in the ACC.
Lindsey Hendrix produced her second double-digit strikeout performance in her five-inning appearance, striking out 10 Canisius batters.

THE OPPONENT
Syracuse and Louisville meet for the 36^th time this weekend. Louisville leads the series 24-11. The Orange claimed the last game against the Cardinals in 2019 with a 4-2, eight-inning victory. Most recently, Louisville lost to #8-ranked Kentucky with a final score of 9-0.

Sunday Apr. 17: vs. Louisville at 12:00 pm

UP NEXT
The Orange will travel to Colgate in Hamilton, NY for another midweek game on Wednesday, Apr. 20^th. Syracuse will return home to host Duke at SU Softball Stadium next weekend. The series will begin with the first game on Friday, April 22^nd at 3 pm and the second game taking place on Saturday, April 23^rd at 1 pm. The Orange will end the series with the final game on Sunday, April 24^th at 12 pm.
