Orange Host #11 Duke

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse (20-18 overall, 3-13 ACC) hosts #11 Duke (34-6 overall, 14-2 ACC) this weekend in a three-game ACC series.

The first game of the series will be on Friday, April 22 at 3:00 pm. The second game will be on Saturday, April 23 at 1:00 pm and the final game of the series will be on Sunday at 12:00 pm.

ORANGE UPDATE

The Orange lost all three games in their Louisville series last weekend, holding the last game to a tight score of 3-2.
Syracuse had no errors in the final game of the series.
Angel Jasso is tied for first in the ACC in stolen bases with 20. She leads the Orange offense in batting average (.380) which ranks her 14^th in the ACC.
In the final game, five different Syracuse player recorded multiple hits, including Angel Jasso, Tessa Galipeau, Kelly Breen, Geana Torres, and Olivia Pess.
Freshman Kelly Breen has had at least one hit in eight of the last nine games.
Syracuse's midweek series against Colgate scheduled for Wednesday, April 20 was canceled due to weather conditions.

THE OPPONENT
Syracuse and Duke meet for the eighth time this weekend. The Blue Devils lead the series 6-1. The two teams last faced off in a four-game series in 2021. The Blue Devils were ranked 13 nationally when they swept the series. Syracuse and Duke met for the first time in just 2019. Duke is currently ranked second in the ACC and 11th nationally.

The Orange will travel to Niagara for a midweek double header on Wednesday, April 27. The first game will start at 3:00 pm and the second one is set to start at 5:00 pm. Syracuse has no ACC series next weekend.
