
Women's Soccer Posts Second-Best Spring G.P.A.

The Syracuse women's soccer team posted the second-best, spring semester grade-point-average among Orange squads. Coach NickyThrasher Adams' club had a 3.649 mark and 23 student-athletes with a 3.0-or-better g.p.a. in the spring.
Syracuse student-athletes who achieve a 3.0-or-better grade-point-average in a semester are named to the program's Athletic Director Honor Roll.
Two players, Meghan Root and Jenna Tivnan, earned A.D. Honor Roll for the eighth semester. Michaela Walsh claimed a spot on the list for the sixth time in her Syracuse tenure.
Receiving A.D. Honor Roll for the fourth semester were Aysia Cobb and Hannah Pilley. Raia James, Kate Murphy and Natalie Weidenbach.
The following first-year performers completed their initial year of school with A.D. Honor Roll recognition for the second time: Koby Commandant, Chelsea Domond, Erin Flurey, Grace Franklin, Emma Klein, Kendyl Lauher, Pauline Machtens, Ashley Rauch, Mags Thornton and Zoe Van De Cloot. First-time honorees included Paolo "Blue" Ellis, Sierra Giorgio, Kylen Grant, Flo Vaillancourt and Telly Vunipola.
The 23 representatives on the A.D. Honor Roll represented the second-best total in the history of the women's soccer program at Syracuse. The 2017-18 squad had 25 on the Spring Semester A.D. Honor Roll.
