2022-23 Syracuse Women's Basketball Schedule
The new era of women's basketball at Syracuse University begins Nov. 7 when first year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack '89 and her squad face Stony Brook at the JMA Wireless Dome. The Orange have eight home games at the Dome during the non-conference schedule, which was announced Thursday afternoon. Game times and television networks will be announced at a later date.Â
Syracuse begins the season with four-straight home games before hitting the road for a matchup against Penn State in State College, Pa., on Nov. 21. The Orange return home to host Bucknell on Nov. 25 and hit the road for back-to-back road games for the only time in the first half of the season Nov. 30 at Purdue (ACC/B1G Challenge) and Dec. 4 at Yale.Â
'Cuse closes out the non-conference season with three-straight home games against Coppin State (Dec. 8), Wagner (Dec. 11) and Albany (Dec. 20.)Â
Six of Syracuse's 11 non-conference opponents are from New York State including Albany, which won the America East Tournament and punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament in 2022. The Coppin State matchup on Dec. 8 fulfills Syracuse's commitment to the Syracuse/MEAC Alliance, which was signed last year, designed to connect institutions, students-athletes, staff and alumni.
