Track Splits For Weekend Trips to Wake and Albany

The Syracuse track and field teams will head to a pair of meets this weekend, starting the final stretch of the season before the ACC Championships begin in three weeks. Some members of the team will head to Wake Forest, while others will make a short trip down the Thruway to UAlbany.

Orange Entries:
Alexander Segarra will race in the 800-meter run, which open things up for the Orange at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Nathan Henderson and Noah Carey will then race in the 1,500-meter run at 8:37 p.m.

Friday night's races will conclude with the 5ks, which start at 9 p.m. The bulk of Orange competitors will come in those two events. Savannah Roark, Abigail Spiers, Sophia Jacobs-Townsley, Ellie Lawler and Shona McCulloch will represent the 'Cuse women. Karl Winter, Paul O'Donnell, Nathan Lawler, Alex Comerford and Assaf Harari are entered for the men.

Orange Entries:
The 1500 will be the first event of the day for the Orange and feature Matthew Dragon, Alex Herbst, Patrick Malone and Kamari Miller on the men's side. The women will see Madeline Heintz, Caroline Kirby, Shanley Koekemoer, Emily Nugent, Siobhan O'Keefe, Reilly Zink and Lucy Zombek.

Carlton Landingham and Daijon Richards will race in the men's 100-meter dash. The duo will later race in the 200, where they'll be joined by Trei Thorogood and James Nmah.

The women's 200-meter run will feature Ariel Haywood and Kristine Krumpfer.

Olivia Etienvre, CJ Fox and Sheridan McGadden are entered in the 100-meter hurdles.

Isaiah Lewis, Samuel Mutiso, David Peters and Naseem Smith will compete in the 110-meter hurdles.

Sarah Eddy, Haywood, Krumpfer and Catriona McKeown are entered in the 400 for the women.

Ryder Kriley will race in the 800-meter run.

Bethany Steiner is entered in the 3000-meter steeplechase.

Nugent and O'Keefe are also entered in the 5k.
