Syracuse will play its second straight match away from home on Sunday, Sept. 3, when it plays at Cornell. It's the second of five consecutive road tilts for the Orange.
THE SYRACUSE-CORNELL SERIES:
Syracuse has a 10-0-3 in the series with Cornell that dates to the 1997 campaign.The Orange won the most recent encounter, a 3-0 decision at the SU Soccer Stadium last year.
SYRACUSE STATUS:
Syracuse (2-3-0) lost at UMass on Thursday, 2-0. The Minutewomen scored twice in the first 20 minutes of play and the Orange were unable to answer.
Senior back Kylen Grant logged another 90-minute effort against UMass. She has played every minute of Syracuse's first five contests this fall. Sophomore goalkeeper Shea Vanderbosch has seen all the action over the first five games for Syracuse. She has a 1.20 goals-against average and a .800 save percentage.
CORNELL STATUS:Â
Four different Cornell players have accounted for the team's four goals. Senior Laken Gallman has two assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Medugno (1.00 GAA, .500 save %) has played all of both Cornell games to date..

- The Atlantic Coast Conference is all over the August 29 United Soccer Coaches Poll with two of the top five teams and seven schools overall included.
- Syracuse is in the midst of five consecutive road tilts. After starting with the matches at UMass and at Cornell, Syracuse plays at Harvard (Sept. 7), at Fairfield (Sept. 10, and at Miami (Sept. 15).
- The next Orange appearance at the SU Soccer Stadium is Sept. 21 against second-ranked Florida State.
