Â
Leda Naihin | Forward | Queen's University
Naihin had a strong debut season at Queen's, scoring eight goals in 12 matches. She was named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) East Division Rookie of the Year and was selected as an OUA East Division First Team All-Star. Naihin finished in the top 10 for points scored in the 2023 OUA season. Naihin was also named to the U Sports All-Canadians Rookie Team. After contributing two goals and one assist against Ontario Tech, Naihin earned the Queen's University Varsity Student Athlete of the Week honor (9/18/2023).
Vita Naihin | Forward | Queen's University
Niahin participated in 13 matches and started in 11 contests for the Gaels in 2023. In her first year, she recorded six goals, two assists, and 30 shots. Naihin scored the game-winning goal against Nipissing to send Queen's to the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) semifinals. Queen's lost to Trinity Western, 2-1 in overtime, in the 2023 Women's Soccer National Championship.

The National Letter-of-Intent program was started in 1964. Administered by the Collegiate Commissioners Association (CCA), the program was designed with prospective student-athletes in mind. A signed letter-of-intent indicates a prospective student-athlete agrees to attend the designated college or university for one academic year. Institutions agree to provide athletics financial aid for one academic year to the student-athlete, provided the student-athlete is admitted to the institution and is eligible for financial aid under NCAA rules.Â
