Perea was named to the 12-player squad by U.S. Men's Beach Soccer National Team head coach Francis Farberoff on Wednesday. Perea and the 2023 team won the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship last May, earning the qualification for the World Cup.
Â
"We are very proud of Nico to be selected to represent the United States at the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup," said Syracuse head coach Ian McIntyre. "He has had a tremendous beach soccer career, and we wish him and Team USA the best of luck."
