Orange Hold Steady at #22 in AP Top-25

After earning an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament, the Syracuse women's basketball team checks in at No. 22 in the Week 20 Associated Press (AP) Top-25 Poll. The Orange have been ranked in every poll since Week 9.
The Orange are 23-7 entering the NCAA Tournament. It's the 13th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and first since 2021. The Orange finished the season 13-5 in the ACC, ranking third in the conference after being picked to finish ninth in the preseason poll. Second-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack earned ACC Coach of the Year honors, while fifth-year guard Dyaisha Fair was named All-ACC First Team and freshman forward Alyssa Latham was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
On Selection Sunday, the Orange earned the No. 6 seed in the Portland 3 Regional to punch their ticket to the Big Dance. SU will face the winner of 11-seed Auburn/11-seed Arizona in the first round in Storrs, CT, on Saturday, March 23. Tip-off for the Orange is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN 2.
