
Trio Earns NFHCA Scholar of Distinction

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Three Syracuse University field hockey players have earned NFHCA Division I Scholar of Distinction honors. The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its list of over 40 Division I players late last week.
Syracuse student-athletes Daisy Frank, Phoebe Hall, and Abby Neitch were among the top academic players in the country this year. Frank earned the distinction for the fourth time in her Syracuse career.
The NFHCA Division I Scholars of Distinction program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
All three of the Orange players earned NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad distinctions as well. Frank and Hall were also named to the All-ACC Academic Team for the 2024 semester.
