
Riding Five-Game Win Streak, Syracuse Women's Lacrosse Enters Top 10

After a road victory over then-ranked No. 4 Northwestern, the Syracuse women's lacrosse program has surged up the national rankings. The Orange cracked the top 10 for the first time this season, reaching No. 10 in the IWLCA, No. 9 in the KANE Media Poll and No. 7 in USA Lacrosse rankings.

The Orange are on a five-game winning streak, including wins over Northwestern and Loyola. During the winning streak, Syracuse has held opponents to just 5.8 goals per game and are averaging 12.6 goals per game on offense.

Sophomore Molly Guzik has been the offensive catalyst with a team high 23 goals. She had a career-high six goals in last week's win over then-ranked No. 4 Northwestern.

The stout Orange defense has been led by Izzy Lahah and Coco Vandiver, who have logged 22 and 20 caused turnovers, respectively. Daniella Guyette has been strong in net, holding foes to 7.5 goals per game with a .477 save percentage. She held Northwestern to just six goals behind eight saves, their lowest total since the 2022 season.
