ORANGE UPDATE
The Orange went 1-2 against Notre Dame in their three-game series last weekend, falling 6-2 in Friday's game, 9-5 on Saturday, and securing a 3-2, walk-off win on Sunday. The team currently stands in 13th place in the Atlantic Coast Conference headed into the doubleheader on Tuesday.

Knight's walk off home run on Sunday was the team's first since Angel Jasso did so against North Carolina on May 8, 2022. Knight's two-run homer in her previous plate appearance in the fifth inning tied the game up at 2-2. In the seventh inning, Lopez stole a home run from the Irish with a dramatic catch at the center-field fence. Julianna Verni earned the complete-game victory and struck out five batters. She reached 84 season strikeouts, a personal-best total. Grace Weaver recorded her 100th putout of her freshman season on a double play in the sixth inning.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
Buffalo enters the doubleheader with a 21-27 overall record and an 8-13 conference mark. The Bulls faced Central Michigan last weekend, splitting Friday's double header, losing 16-7 in six innings and winning 10-8, before dropping the series finale 5-2Â on Saturday.
Tabitha von Kolen, a transfer from Canisius, was last year's Metro Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year.Â
