Two-time IWLCA Defender of the Year Jessica Lavelle joined the Syracuse staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2015. The 2014 graduate of SUNY Cortland earned IWLCA All-America honors in 2013 and 2014 and was a finalist for the Honda Award as a senior.
Last spring, Lavelle served as a volunteer assistant at Morrisville State and as the junior varsity assistant coach at Fayetteville-Manlius High School. In addition, she was the head coach of the Syracuse Snipers Lacrosse Club.
Lavelle earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations and advertising.
