A native of Victor, N.Y., Matt DeLong spent a season on the Syracuse women’s volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2017 season.
DeLong graduated from King University in 2017 with Bachelor’s degrees in Coaching and Athletic Training. He was a member of the volleyball team at King and helped them to a 28-4 record in 2017.
At Victor High School, DeLong was a four-year letterwinner, a two-time regional and state champion and named state MVP as a senior.
