
Orange Goes on the Road For Two

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Syracuse is back on the road this weekend for a pair of games at the Colorado College Fairfield Inn Invitational in Colorado Springs. The Orange takes on Washington State on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Drake on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Syracuse enters the weekend with a 0-1-0 record, while Washington State is 1-0 and Drake is 1-1. The Orange has never faced Washington State or Drake since the program began in 1996.

ORANGE DEBUTS
Several members of the Orange made their collegaite debuts in the season opener at St. Bonaventure. Laura Jackson, Patricia Lind, Tina Romagnuolo and Amanda Hamilton were members of the starting lineup.
ROAD WARRIORS
Syracuse opens the season with nine straight games on the road. It is the longest stretch of away games in the history of the Orange program. Previously, Syracuse has played six consecutive away games twice (1999 and 2006).
BENNETT-HATTAN INCHES CLOSER TO THE TOP
Senior Eliza Bennett-Hattan recorded two saves in the season opener against St. Bonaventure, giving her 245 in her career. She needs just 10 more saves to pass Shannon Myers for the top spot on Syracuse career leader list.
