Menard Named CHA Player of the Month

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Two-time College Hockey America (CHA) Player of the Week, sophomore Isabel Menard, was named Player of the Month by the conference on Dec. 1. Menard is leading the Syracuse women's ice hockey team with nine goals and 14 assists this season.
Throughout the month of November she tallied four goals and five assists in five games played. Her .60 power-play points a game rank first in the CHA, while her .93 assists per game rank second in the conference and are 13th nationally. She also ranks second in the CHA in points per outing with 1.53 and goals per game with .60.
Menard and the Orange will kickoff conference action on Friday when they host Wayne State at 7 p.m. at Tennity Ice Pavilion. The two teams will faceoff again on Saturday at 2 p.m.
