
Orange Welcomes Back Delaware State to the Dome in Game Six

SYRACUSE – The Syracuse women's basketball team welcomes back Delaware State to the Carrier Dome on Saturday, December 4. This marks the third consecutive year that the two teams have met in the Carrier Dome. The Orange was victorious in both meetings.
The 2007-08 contest was a low-scoring contest, resulting in an Orange victory, 56-37. In the game, the
Orange was led by current senior Erica Morrow's 15-point effort.
Syracuse was untouchable in its 72-20 victory against Delaware State in the last meeting on Dec. 22, 2009. Current sophomore center Kayla Alexander led nine different players who scored for Syracuse, including three in double-figures. Alexander matched a game-high 17 points with six rebounds and a pair of blocked shots in a reserve role.
The Hornets ended the 2009-10 season with a 6-24 mark, but return six seniors.
