SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse is back in action at the SU Soccer Stadium on Sunday when it hosts Central New York foe Colgate at 1 p.m. Both teams are looking for the their first win of the season. The Orange enters the contest with a 0-1-2 mark, while the Raiders are 0-2. Admission to Sunday's game is free.
THE SERIES
Syracuse and Colgate have met 14 times in women's soccer, with the Orange holding an 11-2-1 advantage in the series. SU has faced only one other team (Connecticut) more times than the Raiders. Syracuse's 11 wins against Colgate are the most for the Orange against any opponent since the program began in 1996.
ROMAGNULO REACHES DOUBLE DIGITS
Sophomore Tina Romagnuolo netted the Orange's first goal of the season in the Orange's 1-1 tie against Lehigh. It was Romagnuolo's 10th goal of her career. With her next goal, Romagnuolo will move into a tie for 10th place on Syracuse's all-time goals scored record list.
