Senior Noemie Lefebvre is back to lead the team. Lefebvre registered a team high in kills (360) and digs (324) last season and earned Second Team All-BIG EAST recognition. This summer she participated at the World University Games as a member of the Canadian National Team.
The Orange will also look for big things from junior captain Laura Homann and sophomore middle blocker Lindsay McCabe. Homann has compiled 2,345 assists in two years, while McCabe was third in the BIG EAST last season in hitting percentage (.390).

Scouting the Opponents:
Sacred Heart: The Pioneers were 29-7 last season and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. SHU returns six of its seven starters, as well as adding Southern California's Kimmee Roleder to the roster. Roleder sat out last season due to injury, but was a team captain at USC and an Honorable Mention All-Pac 10 performer in 2009.
Siena: The Saints finished 10-21 last season but return one of the most dangerous weapons in the MAAC with sophomore Taylor Akana. Her freshman season saw Akana lead the team with 457 kills on her way to Second Team All-MAAC recognition.
Youngstown State: The Penguins will look to turn things around under second-year head coach Krista Burrows after a 2-27 record in 2010. The Penguins, however, return eight players and four starters this season.
