Orange Goes For Fourth Straight Win Friday

TAMPA, Fla. – Syracuse embarks on its last road trip of the regular season starting Friday, Oct. 12 at USF at 7 p.m. The Orange (8-4-2, 5-1-1) enters the game with a three-game winning streak, while the Bulls (8-4-2, 4-1-2) are unbeaten in their last five contests.
Syracuse is currently in second place in the BIG EAST's American Division, averaging 2.3 points per game. USF is right behind the Orange in third place with a 2.0 points-per-game average. The top five teams in each division qualify for the BIG EAST Tournament.
THE SERIES
Syracuse and USF will face each other for eighth time on Friday. The Orange leads the all-time series 4-3-0. The two last faced each other in October 2011 when Syracuse won 1-0 in double overtime.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
USF enters the game coming off a 1-0 win against Providence. The Bulls' offense is led by Sharla Passariello, who has recorded seven goals and has notched three assists on the season. Christiane Endler has been equally impressive in the goal, recording seven shutouts and a .836 save percentage this season.
The Bulls are led by head coach Denise Schilte-Brown, who is in her sixth season with the team.
