
Molke and Anghel Named Orange Scholar-Athletes

SYRACUSE, N.Y- Redshirt junior Robert Molke (Westwood, N.J) of the men's cross country team and junior goalkeeper Brittany Anghel (East Meadow, N.Y) of the women's soccer team are the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week for Oct. 8, 2012.
Molke finished third overall at the 2012 Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational with a time of 24:50 in the 8k run. Last season, he finished 50th overall at the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 24:55. Molke was a member of the Fall 2010 Athletic Director's Honor Roll. He is dual majoring in Public Relations in the Newhouse School of Public Communications and Marketing Management in the Whitman School of Management.
Anghel has started in all 14 games this season and ranks second on SU's all-time list with 17 shutouts. Last season, she started all 18 contests. Anghel has been a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll across all semesters at SU. She is majoring in Health and Exercise Science in the School of Education.
Molke and the men's cross country team will compete in the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wis. on Friday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. Anghel and the rest of the Orange women's soccer team will travel to South Florida to face the Bulls on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7p.m.
