Hillsman's Dutch Team Plays For Bronze

BUCHAREST, Romania - Quentin Hillsman's Netherlands Under-18 Women's National Team will play in the third-place game of the 2012 FIBA U18 European Championship. The Dutch team, for which the Syracuse head coach is serving on the coaching staff for the second straight year, will play Serbia on Sunday at 11:45 a.m. ET.
The Netherlands lost a hard fought game to France, 60-47, on Saturday in the semifinals, the deepest into the tournament the country has ever advanced.
The Dutch reached the semis after defeating Turkey, 77-69, in the quarterfinal round on Friday. They are 5-3 overall for the tournament.
Sunday's bronze medal game opponent, Serbia, lost to Russia, 75-69, in the other semifinal.
