THE SERIES

RECORD PERFORMANCES
Freshman Stephanie Skilton and senior Brittany Anghel had record-setting performances that contributed to the Orange's first ACC victory of the season at Pittsburgh on Sunday. Skilton tied the single-game school record, scoring three times in the game and earning her first hat trick. Skilton and sophomore Erin Simon (Oakhurst, N.J.) both have tallied three goals in a game in 2013, marking the first time in school history that two players have accomplished the feat in the same season.
Defensively, Anghel posted her 21st career shutout, which moved her into first place on the Orange's all-time leader list. She also earned her 26th career victory, which is the highest total in school history.
