Read the ACC Release

The Syracuse men's cross country team has been picked to win the 2013 conference title, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced this afternoon. The squad was also predicted to finish first in the Northeast Region and ninth in the nation earlier this week.

The women's team was voted to finish in fifth at the ACC Championship race, which will be held on November 1 and hosted by Wake Forest. The Orange is also predicted to finish fifth in the Northeast Region.

The men's squad comes off an impressive 2012 season, winning the program a third BIG EAST title in four seasons. The team finished in third place in the NCAA Northeast Regional and 15th at the NCAA Championship race. They received ten first place votes from ACC coaches heading into SU's inaugural season in the conference.

Reigning ACC Champions Florida State was picked to win the women's conference title again this season. FSU was also picked to finish second nationally.
