The Orange kicks off the weekend with a matchup it's been waiting for since the last time these two teams met back on October 17. The Cardinals defeated the Orange in three sets however, 'Cuse threatened the Cards in all three sets but had difficulty closing.
Since, Syracuse has eagerly awaited another crack at Louisville and will look to get its revenge Friday night on ESPN3 in Louisville. Both teams are coming off a loss as the Cardinals recently lost in four sets to Pittsburgh. Clark converted on over half of her attempts when she took on 'Cuse this season, finishing with a .529 hitting percentage in the match.
Louisville's defense was tough to crack when it came to Syracuse as the third best ACC team in digs per set recorded 48 digs with 20 of them credited to Roxanne McVey. The Cards also pulled off a rare task, out-blocking the Orange 7-5 in their last meeting.
Sunday, Nov. 2 at 1:00 PM – Pittsburgh (18-3, 6-2 ACC) | Live Stats | Watch Live
